MANVERS WARD

PENNY ASTILL, 1 Water Lane, Tel: 9332557. Serving Councillor who has lived in Radcliffe for over 40 years. Retired District Nurse now working as Palliative Care Nurse for Nottinghamshire Hospice. Interested in Health and Safety and maintaining the integrity of the village and its amenities.

RODNEY BREARS, 62 Cropwell Road, Tel: 9332065. Serving Councillor. He is a recently retired airline pilot and past Chairman of Radcliffe Conservatives. Chairman of the Planning and Environment Committee.

GEORGIA MOORE, 9 Pimlico Close. Tel: 9335141. Serving Councillor. She has lived in the village for over 45 years. Member of Upper Saxondale Residents Association and currently Vice-Chairman of the Parish Council.

FIONA ROYCE, 51 Covert Crescent, Tel: 911 9062. Has lived in Radcliffe for over 20 years. Married with 2 children. Part of the group who organise the village Carnival. Committed to bringing people together to ensure our village continues to offer an enjoyable and safe lifestyle. Interested in Environmental and Ethical issues

LOUISE LAUGHTON-MOTE, 15 Sydney Grove, Tel: 9335622.  Serving Councillor. Has lived in Radcliffe on Trent for over 10 years and is a marketing and training consultant. She is particularly interested in preserving Radcliffe on Trent as a village, and also in environmental issues. Vice-chair of Grange Hall and The Grange Management Committee.

JANET MAUGHAN, 9 Lamcote Gardens, Tel: 9119368.  A Physiotherapist and a Councillor since 1991, she is interested in the Environment and local amenities.

GORDON MOORE, 9 Pimlico Close, Tel: 9335141. Chairman of the Finance and General Purposes Committee. A retired Sales Manager in the Energy industry. He is a Borough Councillor and Chairman of the Independent Monitoring Board at Whatton Prison and runs a local, youth sports club.

 

WALLY SMITH, 1 Dewberry Lane, Tel: 9333616. Serving Borough and Parish Councillor and Past Chairman of the Parish Council. He is very interested in crime prevention. He is currently Chairman of the Parish Council.

TRENT WARD

PHILIP ADAMS, 135A Shelford Road, Tel: 9332554. A Radcliffe resident for nearly 20 years. Now retired has spent all his working life in printing. An active member of St Anne's Church and Radcliffe Bowls Club.

BRIAN HOLLIS, 14 Hamilton Drive, Tel: 933 3545. Retired university lecturer and a resident for over 40 years. He is a co-opted member with several previous terms of service. He has been a governor of both primary schools for over 30 years, being Chair of Governors for most of that time. Currently Treasurer of the Twinning Association.

YVONNE PURSER, 39, Cropwell Road, Tel: 9334900. A Radcliffe resident for over 30 years and a community nurse for nearly 20 years. Likes to put something back into the community. Hobbies include her dogs, caravanning and Family History.

GRAHAM LEIGH-BROWNE, 31 Bingham Road, Tel: 9332349. A retired Chartered Surveyor and Town Planner, he has served on the Council since 1979, including 10 years as Chairman. He is past Chairman and vice-Chairman of the Notts. Wildlife Trust, where he is still a Trustee. He is Vice President of the RCAN.

MELANIE McKECHNIE, 25 Orford Avenue, Tel: 9332989. Has lived in Radcliffe for over 10 years, and is passionate to preserve the character of the village. Enjoys helping to organise the various village events run by the council. She is currently Chairman of the Grange Hall and The Grange Management Committee.

JAMES SPENCER, 38 Orford Avenue, Tel: 9333033. A co-opted member of the council after previously serving before retirement in May 2007. Born in Radcliffe, works as a building contractor. Married with children, interested in gardening, backstage theatre and family amongst other things. 

PETER ROBINSON, 21 Lincoln Grove, Tel: 9335198. A retired Bank Manager, he is particularly interested in environmental matters and military history.

DAVID SMITH, 85 Whitworth Drive, Tel: 9334786. Has lived and worked in Radcliffe for over 30 years. Keen to see improvements within the village that will be to the benefit of all. Hobbies include Fishing and Stamp Collecting. He is also chairman of St James Park Bowling Club. He is currently the Chairman of the Amenities Committee. 

JOSEPHINE SPENCER, 21 Grandfield Avenue, Tel: 9332401 A housewife and service Councillor, she is a founder member of ROTSA. Is a Governor of the Infant School and enjoys golf and all sports.
